With more than 28 years expertise in cheer and dance, RCA Founder Shelby Barbin is one of the country's most experienced and motivational cheerleading instructors.

Fully accredited by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCA), Shelby is also an NCA-certified coach and competition judge. She most recently coached and directed programs for the Richardson Rams and the Dallas Select Football League.

Cheer Career
While working with the Richardson Rams, Shelby coached and directed four cheerleading squads simultaneously. She prepared and carried out all aspects of tryouts for new candidates, choreographed routines for all four squads and that’s just the beginning!

She has also:

• Managed fundraising processes to raise funds for girls’ fees
• Created scholarship programs to help girls financially who otherwise would not be able to participate in programs
  
• Safety-certified assistant coaches and parents that wanted to volunteer
• Maintained positive relationships with all the parents of the squad members
• Coached teams to over 15 competition victories and assisted numerous squads with choreography—most of which went on to win or place well in their division titles
